Environmental balance

What is an Environmental Assessment?

The environmental balance is divided into two levels:

  1. Level I environmental assessment - the environmental study carried out through documentation and data collection. It includes all the elements of the technical analysis of environmental aspects, on the basis of which a decision is made regarding the dimensioning of the environmental impact on a site, be it potential or actual.
  2. Level II environmental assessment - the environmental study is carried out by investigating a site, and quantifying the extent of pollution, by taking samples and chemical, physical or biological analyzes of environmental factors. It intervenes if, following BM I, a potentially significant pollution of a site was revealed or if the environmental authority establishes from the beginning that a site presents a potentially significant pollution, requesting the execution of BM II at the same time as BM I.

Location Report

What is a Location Report?

It is a document that highlights the existing pollution situation of a location, before the installation comes into operation. It provides a point of reference and comparison when the activity carried out by a site ceases.

When the activity ceases, the site report allows both the owner and the authorities to determine if a major impact on the environment occurred during the operation of the installation and if remedial works are necessary. Also, the Site Report is a confirmation of the fact that the site has been returned to a satisfactory state from the point of view of environmental protection.

Environmental Impact Assessment Report

What is an Environmental Impact Assessment Report?

It is that document that contains information and alternatives regarding the characteristics of the project on the basis of which the main effects generated by the project on the environment are identified and evaluated.

The environmental impact assessment report proposes, based on the analysis carried out and the available information, the necessary measures to avoid, reduce and remedy the significant negative effects generated by the project, on the environment.

Security report

What is a Security Report?

The safety report (RS) is a specific documentation for the objectives in which dangerous substances are present according to the provisions of the legislation regarding the control of activities that present the danger of major accidents in which dangerous substances are involved.

At the same time, this document demonstrates that the operator of a site has put into practice a Major Accident Prevention Policy (PPAM), has identified such major accident hazards and possible scenarios, but also that he has put into practice a security management system for PPAM application.

Adequate assessment study

What is an Adequate Assessment Study?

It represents a process through which the evaluation and identification of the potential significant effects of a project/activity on the environment is carried out. It considers the establishment of measures to minimize and/or liquidate the effects.

If the project/activity could have a negative impact on the natural area protected by community interest, information can be requested by the authorities, in the form of an Adequate Evaluation Study.

Biodiversity monitoring

What is Biodiversity Monitoring?

Biodiversity monitoring consists in tracking over time changes in the structure and functioning of ecosystems, habitats and populations of some species as a result of the implementation of a plan or project.

The monitoring programs can be based on the structure of the requirements of the regulatory acts or they can be structured to meet project requirements.

How will we help you?

We will help you by covering all taxonomic groups of conservative interest and by covering the entire diversity of project requirements.
